Description: Vine Tea refers to the stem leaf of Ampelopsis
grossedentata(Hand-Mazz)W.T.Wang. It is widely distributed in Hubei
and Hunan Guangdong and Guangxi, Fujian, Yunnan and other places.
The pharmacological activity researches suggest that Vine Tea has
the effect of antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial,
anti-tumor, liver-protection, Blood glucose-reduction and blood
lipid-reduction. Modern chemical researches show that the main
active ingredients of Vine tea are flavonoids, of which
Dihydromyricetin is the highest. Dihydromyricetin, also called
Ampelopsin, is a special kind of flavonoids with the function of
preventing alcoholic liver, fatty liver, inhibiting the
deterioration of liver cells and reducing the incidence of liver
cancer.
Pharmacological Function:
1. Anti cancer. The studies have found that Dihydromyricetin can
not only inhibit HCC and breast cancer cells, but also can curb the
proliferation of LNCaP and bladder cancer cells. At the same time,
it plays an auxiliary role in anti-cancer anti-cancer.
2. Antioxidant. Dihydromyricetin has a good antioxidant activity
and can protect cells and tissues.
3. Reducing blood lipids and blood glucose. Different experiments
have confirmed that the Dihydromyricetin has the function of
reducing blood lipids and blood glucose, and also inhibiting the
activity of diabetes related enzymes.
